Cathedral ceilings with cream walls and golden wood trim give the main living area a clean, light character that feels different from most traditional log cabin interiors. The stacked stone fireplace runs from October through February, the leather sofa and recliner face a flat-screen Smart TV, and the open plan keeps the kitchen connected to the living and dining spaces naturally. The kitchen has wood cabinetry with natural grain, black granite countertops, a Keurig and coffee maker, and everything needed for group cooking. The large blonde wood dining table seats eight between the kitchen and living room — generous enough for the full group with room to spare.

The Bedrooms

The king bedroom has its own direct access to the covered deck — a private connection to the outdoors that makes morning coffee outside an effortless start to the day. The second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk set, accommodating either kids or adults on the full lower bunk. A queen sleeper sofa handles the seventh guest. Two covered decks give the group outdoor space at different levels, both looking out over trees stretching to the mountain horizon. Rocking chairs handle the slower hours, and the hot tub handles the evenings. A charcoal grill is available for outdoor cooking whenever the group wants dinner outside with the mountain silhouettes as the backdrop.
