Once Upon a Time is a one-bedroom Gatlinburg cabin that earns its name — tucked into the forest above the valley, with Mt. LeConte views from the loft king suite and a bedside jetted tub to end every evening with. The Living Area & Kitchen

Warm wood planking wraps the main living area, where a stacked stone fireplace runs from October through February and plenty of natural light fills the space through the surrounding windows. Lodge-inspired furnishings, a flat-screen TV, and a pool table give the room a character that stays comfortable across a full week. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker and everything needed for cooking in, and the wooden dining table seats four in a central spot that works equally well for meals, card games, and slower morning hours.

Very nice cabin! Homely feel. Watched 2 black bears in wooded area off deck while also enjoying the mountain views. My only complaint would be a few of the tree tops need to be trimmed in order to see the mountains better but other than that everything was great.

The cabin was fantastic just like last time! We even had a visit from a bear in the top of a tree about 20 ft from the deck! The hot tub was soooo relaxing after a long day!!! Will definitely use Colonial Properties again!!!

Husband and I wanted to get away for our anniversary. Cabin was perfect. It was very clean upon arrival. We had a wonderful weekend. It was quiet and private.

Perfect Honeymoon Location!

We chose Once Upon a Time for our Honeymoon and it did not disappoint! We drove 17 hours from North East Texas and it was worth the drive. The cabin was very clean, especially the bathrooms and shower, and the view was beautiful. The location of the cabin was great not only in the way that it was tucked away in the woods, but in relation to other things such as stores, downtown Gatlinburg, etc. Their i️s also a super cute little art village with tons of little shops just 5 minutes away which was super fun to explore! The staff had great communication and were super kind, the checkout process was easy, and all i️n all me and my husband agreed this was one of the best vacations we’ve ever been on. We really hope to return sometime in the future and 100% recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing time in Tennessee!

Beautiful little cabin!

Gorgeous little cabin! Closer to the other cabins than I would like, but once inside it feels so private! The view of the porch is gorgeous and the hot tub is divine! The cabin is close enough for easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but far enough out to feel like you aren’t in the city. Very pleasant stay for our honeymoon - we LOVED the pool table!

Was an enjoyable, peaceful getaway. The cabin was clean, private with all needed amenities. It was the perfect surprise for my husbands 50th birthday. Private but close to all attractions. We will recommend and be back!
