At Trail's End earns its name in the best possible way — few neighbors, soaring ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a mountain view that greets you from nearly every room. This is a Gatlinburg cabin sized and designed for two couples who want genuine privacy, a king suite with a jetted tub right beside the bed, and evenings that move naturally from the pool table in the loft to the fire pit on the wraparound deck. It's the kind of place that doesn't ask much of you — just show up and let it do the rest.

The King Suite

The primary bedroom sets a high bar from the first night. A king bed, a private en suite bath, and a jetted soaking tub positioned right beside it — the kind of proximity that makes the decision to use it feel effortless rather than ceremonial. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the mountain view into the room, and the wraparound deck is accessible from here, which means the transition from bed to rocking chair with a cup of coffee requires almost no effort at all.

The Loft

Upstairs, the loft has a pool table and a wet bar with a mini-fridge — a self-contained space that becomes a natural gathering point for the group on slower afternoons and evenings. The half bath up here means no trips downstairs mid-game, and the elevated perspective looks out over the soaring main living area below.

The Deck & Fire Pit

The wraparound covered deck runs along most of the cabin's footprint, with rocking chairs positioned to take in the mountain views and the hot tub ready whenever the day calls for it. The fire pit sits separately for those evenings when the mood calls for something more deliberate — gathered around the flames, the Gatlinburg hills going quiet around you, no real reason to be anywhere else.

The Second Bedroom & Baths

The queen bedroom has its own nearby full bath, giving both couples their own comfortable space and reasonable privacy for a cabin this intimate. A charcoal grill, washer and dryer, WiFi, and provided linens and towels take care of everything else.

Location

Dollywood is about 16 minutes from this Pigeon Forge spot, with the LeConte Center around 18 minutes and the Parkway and The Island roughly 20 minutes. Downtown Gatlinburg comes in near 24 minutes, and the Sugarlands entrance to the national park is about 30 minutes. Quiet where you sleep, close to everything you came for.

You'll spend the first morning figuring out where to sit, and the rest of the trip not wanting to leave whichever spot you chose.
